Amphitheater is a wall dive off Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos, named for a formation where the wall drops vertically and is undercut 10 to 15 ft (3 to 4.6 m) to a sandy bottom at 85 ft (26 m). There is large pillar coral under the boat.
A large elephant ear sponge with black coral sits along the top lip of the undercut, and some rare orange rope sponges grow at around 90 ft (27 m). In front of the amphitheater is a buttress with fine examples of plate corals. Horse-eyed jacks are abundant.
