Anse Coco (Anse Cocos) is a beach on the east coast of La Digue in the Seychelles. The east coast beaches, Grand Anse, Petite Anse and Anse Cocos, are exposed to the open ocean, with strong swell, breakers and rip currents that are frequent, particularly from May to September when the south-east trade winds strengthen the sea. They are not suitable for swimming or snorkelling.
Anse Cocos can be reached on foot or by boat. When the sea is very calm it can offer pleasant natural pools, but check with locals and never move far from the shore. No beach on La Digue has lifeguards.
