Banc Des Gorgones is a reef among the dive sites of Nosy Be, noted for its spectacular series of big sea fans and coral formations, which give it a scenery that hardly looks real.
Blue spotted stingrays, crocodilefish, stonefish, trumpetfish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs and cleaner shrimps are found among the formations. The site is also known for its schools of snappers and its huge resident green turtles.
