Bicheno on Tasmania's east coast is one of the best shore dives on that coast. Waubs Bay runs from 4 to 18 metres over granite boulders and colourful sponge gardens with plentiful macro life.
Weedy sea dragons are the draw, and more than ten can often be seen on a single dive. The water runs 11 to 18 degrees Celsius.
