The Biscayne is a sunken wreck sitting at 60 feet (18 metres) off Key Biscayne, Florida, included as one of the deeper options in the Key Biscayne Wreck Trek — a string of shipwrecks that extended-range and technical divers can visit alongside shallower sites such as the South Seas, Princess Brittney, Paraiso, Rio Miami, DEMA Trader, and Proteus.
At a maximum depth of 18 metres (60 feet), the site is rated beginner in terms of difficulty, though its position at the deeper end of the wreck trek means it is typically grouped with the extended-range or technical diver additions rather than the standard recreational stops. A diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) is noted as helpful for navigating the distances between wrecks in this lineup.
The wreck trek area as a whole hosts Goliath grouper, sea turtles, stingrays, bait fish, and reef sharks, with some of the wrecks in the lineup having been down long enough to be colonised by corals and sponges. Current in this area tends to run to the north on most days, which influences how the multi-wreck dives are planned and executed.
