Black Rock is an offshore dive in the Mergui archipelago of Myanmar, paired in the same area with Tower Rock, and the two are treated as big fish dives. Manta rays are commonly seen at the site, and schools of mobula rays, also called devil rays, often cruise past in large numbers.
Eagle rays drop in as well, and schools of fantail rays sometimes fly by. Sharks have been seen here too, among them leopard sharks, silvertips and even bull sharks. Diving in the archipelago is at its best from December through to April.
