About this site

Blue Lagoon is a sheltered bay located near the Padang Bai ferry port in east Bali, known as a calm, easy dive site suited to beginners, try dives, and Open Water training. The site features coral gardens just offshore, with the reef extending into a wall that attracts reef sharks, and the deeper waters toward the Lombok Strait bringing sunfish and pelagics within reach of more experienced divers.

Blue Lagoon is diveable year-round, with water temperatures ranging from 26–29°C. Current is light within the sheltered bay, and visibility is generally good, making conditions consistently approachable for all levels.

Entry is by boat from the Padang Bai area. The site works well for all certification levels, from first-time try divers to certified recreational divers, and is frequently combined with nearby sites in the same day.
