Blue Pool is a well known divers' favourite, where overhangs, reef and boulders provide plenty of homes for marine life. It is rated technical and is dived to 38 metres, with good visibility.
Water temperatures fall from 15°C at 7 metres to 9°C at 18 metres. Fishing lines are a hazard, and a swell can make exits difficult at times. On a recent night dive cuttlefish, octopus, lobsters and congers were all seen.
