Bridge Spans sits off the Florida coast near 27.45°N, 80.17°W, an artificial reef made from old bridge sections placed on the seabed to build hard structure in an otherwise open area. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 16 metres. Bridge spans like this one are common artificial reef material along Florida's coast, sunk deliberately to give divers and marine life a structure to colonize. Divers here have also reported loggerhead sea turtles and oceanic manta rays passing through the site.
