Cantik Point is a macro dive site near Tulamben on the northeast coast of Bali. The seabed is a mix of sand and rock, and it is home to small and well camouflaged animals such as frogfish, ghost pipefish and tiny shrimp.
Visibility is described as excellent, which helps when searching for the smaller residents. The site can be dived all year, with the best conditions from April to November during the dry season, and early morning dives often bring calm water. A macro lens suits the site, and the bottom is best left untouched to protect the fragile seabed.
