Cathedral is a dive site on the north-west side of Pescador Island, a protected marine park off Moalboal in the Philippines. The island, whose name means "Fisherman Island," is ringed by several distinct sites; Cathedral occupies its north-western flank. When current is running, divers apply drift-diving techniques to cruise along the reef comfortably.
The reef structure includes a flat section at around 8 m covered in stone corals and dense reef fish, dropping to a maximum depth of 20 m. Whip corals and soft corals are well represented throughout the site, and the overall terrain supports a thriving, undisturbed coral community.
Marine life at Cathedral is varied: turtles, triggerfish, puffer fish, and large numbers of reef fish are regularly encountered, alongside whip corals and soft corals framing the reef. Ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, cleaner shrimp, jackfish, barracuda, and frogfish are also recorded at the site.
Cathedral is a boat dive, reached from Pescador Island; current is generally light, visibility is great, and water temperature sits at 28 °C. The best conditions fall between November and May or June. The site is rated intermediate, making it suitable for certified divers with some experience rather than absolute beginners.
