Clam Gardens lies a short swim from the beach at Watson's Bay on Lizard Island, on the Great Barrier Reef. No boat is needed to reach it, since snorkellers can swim out from the shore.
The site sits among the fringing reefs of Watson's Bay and Anchor Bay, and clams, including giant clams, are the main marine life here. Other good snorkelling sites on the same island are found at Anchor Bay and Sunset Beach.
