Coral Garden

Coral Garden is a reef dive site in the Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, where dark volcanic sand gives way to a vibrant coral reef structure. The reef at Coral Garden features coral formations alongside sea fans, barrel sponges, and anemones that provide habitat for a dense mix of resident animals. Giant frogfish perch motionless on the reef, pygmy seahorses cling to sea fans, and hairy lobsters tuck themselves between the grooves of barrel sponges. Banggai cardinalfish, endemic to the region, hover in tight schools near anemones, while banded sea kraits weave actively through the corals.
