Croc Caverns is a cave and cavern system off Rarotonga at depths of 8 to 12 metres, reserved for experienced divers with 50 or more dives. It is a bigger system than the other cave nearby.
The entrance is a well-hidden fissure in the reef, followed by a chain of large caverns. Lionfish, moray eels and Spanish Dancers live inside, and a resident white tip is sometimes found sleeping in a dark corner of the final cavern.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
