Deep Blue Wall lies off Nikouria, a small islet just off the coast of Amorgos in the Cyclades group of the South Aegean. The site follows a wall that drops along steep rocky terrain into the open Aegean, typically reached by boat from Amorgos itself. Divers here have reported black longspine urchins and sunset cup coral along the rock face, along with comber, dusky spinefoot, European parrotfish, rivulated rabbitfish, Mediterranean damselfish, and Mediterranean rainbow wrasse. Indian lionfish, a species that has spread through the Mediterranean in recent years, have also been seen on the wall.
