Entalula Wall is a wall dive on the southwestern front of Entalula Island in the El Nido area, framed by towering limestone cliffs. It is reached by boat in about 45 minutes and is a dive for certified divers, running 5 to 35 metres deep.
The top of the reef is hard-coral terraces between 5 and 12 metres with damselfish, parrotfish and schools of fusiliers, with staghorn coral dominating the reef. Following the wall down, soft corals, sea whips and sea fans sway in the current. Cracks and ledges hide nudibranchs, shrimps and pipefish, and a marble ray has been seen resting under an overhang. Green turtles glide past and jacks flash through the blue. Hawksbill turtles, bluespotted stingrays, squid, cuttlefish and octopus also live here, and ghost pipefish and eagle rays are worth watching for.
Divers like to try to find all eight species of anemonefish here, sometimes in a single dive. Currents are mild or occasional, which makes the long reef good for a drift. Visibility is 10 to 30 metres, and the best months are November to May.
