Peleliu Express is a reef-hook dive site in Palau, grouped among the premier current-driven reef dives in the archipelago alongside Blue Corner, Siaes Corner, Big Drop Off, and Peleliu Cut. The reef drops away dramatically, with walls descending beyond 200 metres (656 feet), while the average working depth sits around 18 metres (60 feet).
Strong currents are the defining feature of this site, and divers use a reef hook to hold position in the flow and observe marine life without fighting the water. Sharks are a highlight, commonly seen resting or cruising in the current along the wall.
Given the strong currents and technical maximum depth, Peleliu Express is suited to experienced divers comfortable with current diving and reef-hook technique. Visibility is great. Most dive sites in Palau, including this one, are reached by a short skiff ride of roughly 10 to 20 minutes.
