Fish Market is a mid-depth reef at 11 metres (36 feet), nicknamed The Land of 10,000 Grunts. Huge schools of French grunts swirl so thickly that you can swim through them as they part and reform inches from your mask.
Among the coral heads there are drumfish, clinging crabs and moray eels, and all four moray species have been seen here. Nurse sharks, turtles and passing dolphins turn up occasionally.
Depending on the current, you might drift north past a coral restoration area or explore a line of sandy holes full of marine life.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
