About this site
Haunted Wall, known locally as Tumbatu – Haunted Wall, is a small wall dive located off Tumbatu in the Zanzibar area, diving to a maximum depth of 15 metres with the shallowest point at around 2 metres. The wall has an eerie character and is draped in beautiful soft corals.
The soft corals along the wall shelter nudibranches and leaf fish, while inquisitive bat fish cruise past in open water.
The shallow depth range of 2–15 metres makes this an accessible site suitable for less experienced divers.
