La Burrera is a rocky boat dive off La Graciosa in the Canary Islands, between 18 m and 24 m deep and rated intermediate. The terrain is a labyrinth of rocks, arches, columns and ledges.
It is one of the last places where the kelp forest remains untouched and free of the sea urchins that have stripped other areas. The currents and waves have built a dense stand of plant life here.
Canary lobsters, giant groupers and the striped burrito fish that gives the site its name are regular sights. With luck you may also see captain wrasse or soldierfish.
