Lankan Manta Point sits off Lankanfinolhu in North Male Atoll, on a reef corner known as a cleaning station for manta rays. Divers come here mainly for the chance to see mantas circling the cleaning stations, particularly during the southwest monsoon months when plankton concentrations draw them in. Currents at atoll corners like this can pick up. The site is a shallow reef rather than a wall or wreck, and sightings are seasonal rather than guaranteed. Beyond the mantas, divers have also reported blacktip reef sharks, giant morays, and Clark's anemonefish here, along with reef regulars like Moorish idols, Oriental sweetlips, powder blue tangs, yellow boxfish, and spiny cushion stars scattered across the reef.
