Magic II is a shallow volcanic reef beside the Anfi del Mar harbour wall. It is a boat dive about 0.5 nautical miles (1 km) out, roughly 5 minutes by boat.
The site is part of a large volcanic reef that was partly covered when the Anfi harbour wall was built in the 1990s. The exposed reef has three distinct areas: sandy plains, rocky formations and scattered stones, each with its own marine life. Depth is 12 to 18 m. Multiple routes are possible, so even divers limited to 12 m can explore the reef fully.
Rays hunt on the sandy seabed. Divers also often find nudibranchs, sea slugs, sea cucumbers, Canarian lobsters, scorpionfish, cuttlefish, moray eels, octopus and anemones. The mix of sand and rock gives good hiding and hunting ground.
The site is accessible to all certified divers, from beginners to intermediate. It is dived in both morning and afternoon, and morning dives are often combined with a deeper dive on the Sailboat site or another nearby site.
