Manta Point is a pair of sites on the southwest of Nusa Penida, both with dramatic limestone cliffs that descend straight into the ocean. Manta Point I, the further one, has slightly larger mantas of 2 to 4 m across, but it can be surgy and is not always reachable because of waves. Neither site has currents.
Mantas are seen at 5 to 10 m depth. Mola mola, bamboo and nurse sharks, tuna, tiger mackerel and smaller rays can also appear, and mola mola show up along the wall of Manta Point from July to October.
