Naftan is a boat dive on the southern side of Saipan, a gently falling wall that can also be dived as a drift. The wall runs from shallow water down to about 40 metres, with coral along it, and the dive is possible all year round.
Butterflyfish are plentiful here, along with other life around the wall. Currents run here, so divers should keep them in mind.
