North Point is a drifting wall and reef dive site located on the north-west side of Sipadan Island, dropping into a sheer vertical wall beside the deep Alice Channel. The wall runs from around 25 metres down to 40 metres (verified maximum 38.5 m), with visibility reaching up to 30 metres.
A popular cleaning station at 37 metres draws notable pelagic visitors, including manta rays, occasional hammerhead sharks, massive grey reef sharks, and eagle rays. Ascending the wall, divers frequently encounter some of the largest green sea turtles in the area, often seen alongside ribbon eels and coral cat sharks. Throughout the wall, sea squirts, sponges, and colourful anemones add variety to the smaller marine life.
Strong currents run through the site, making this a drift dive suited exclusively to advanced divers; a minimum qualification of Advanced Open Water certification is required. Entry is by boat.
