About this site
Sairee Reef is the house reef off Sairee beach on Koh Tao, Thailand, often overlooked among the island's many dive sites. It is dived at 6 to 12 metres and is a good place for beginners to try a night dive.
It has turned up some of Koh Tao's more unusual animals, including sea moths, seahorses, pleurobranchs and pipefish, as well as schools of yellowtail barracuda and large whip rays. Hard coral is plentiful and blennies are everywhere. In season there are nudibranchs, juvenile sweetlips and batfish.
