Salamanda is a wreck dive off Pacific Harbour in Fiji, a fishing vessel 30 metres long that was purposely sunk in the 1990s to create an artificial reef. It sits at a depth of around 30 metres and is graded advanced.
Divers can explore the main deck and swim through the cabin areas. Soft corals blanket the wreck, and schools of snapper, trevally and lionfish are common around the ship. Smaller creatures such as nudibranchs and ghost pipefish suit macro photography. Moray eels, puffer fish and coral trout have also been reported.
