Samba is a wreck at the Point of Ness close to Lerwick harbour in Shetland, with a maximum depth of 36 metres. The small tanker broke down in 1956 and eventually grounded on the point, where she broke up.
Even the big diesel engines have been reduced to scrap in the shallows, but many recognisable pieces remain, and the bow section lies at 35 metres. Divers can rummage through the pieces while ascending the slope.
