About this site
Shaab Claudia is a reef in the Fury Shoals area of the Egyptian Red Sea, with a depth range of about 3 to 20 m and a maximum around 19 m. It has light current and great visibility.
Terrain. The site is known for swim-throughs and cavern-like formations, with wide coral canyons, tunnels and large chambers. Sunlight plays through them. The cave-like structures are wide and safe, so they suit divers who are new to overhead environments.
Marine life. The reef is home to giant moray eels, lionfish, blue-spotted stingrays and schooling fusiliers. Stingrays and garden eels often hide on the sandy bottom.

Who it suits. Divers of all levels can dive it, but good buoyancy skills are needed in the tunnels.
