About this site
Sharkfin Rock is a reef dive and snorkel site located on the west side of Lānaʻi, Hawaiʻi, known for its well-developed corals and relatively undisturbed reef life owing to the island's low human population and light development.
The reef reaches a maximum depth of 36.6 m (120 ft), with water clarity frequently exceeding 30 m (100 ft). The site is protected from exposure year-round, making conditions consistently accessible.
The site is suitable for beginners and is accessible by boat. The specific entry point may be adjusted depending on weather and ocean conditions on the day.
