Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Target Rock is a shallow dive of 10 to 25 feet (3 to 8 metres) with plenty of rocks, kelp, fish and invertebrates. It lies close to a harbour and its boating channel, which shapes how the site is dived.
Fishing line is a known hazard here, so a float is needed, and divers should not head far out into the boating channel. Timing the tide well makes a difference: starting at the entrance of the harbour turns the dive into a long, easy drift.
