Taunton is a shallow wreck dive on the northeastern reef of Bermuda, lying in about 6 metres (20 ft) of water. She was a 228 ft (69 m) Danish cargo steamer built in 1902, and she was wrecked in November 1920 while sailing from Norfolk, Virginia, to St. George's with a cargo of coal for the island.
The hull is now broken up across the reef, but her engine and boilers still stand upright, reaching for the surface. The wreck is very photogenic and works well for both divers and snorkellers.
