The Maori is a shipwreck dive site located on Cape Town's Western Seaboard, South Africa. The vessel went down in 1909 and is one of the recognised wreck dives in the Cape Town area.
The wreck sits to a maximum depth of 20 metres, placing it within the range typical of the Cape's commonly dived wrecks. Water temperature runs between 12°C and 18°C, and visibility ranges from 5 to 15 metres depending on conditions. The site is rated as advanced difficulty.
The Maori is diveable year-round, with an optimal season running from October through May. The broader Cape waters in which it sits are known for cold-water conditions influenced by the meeting of two major ocean currents at the tip of the peninsula.
