Triple Arch

Triple Arch, also called Calypso Cave or Calypso Tunnel, is a dive site along the drop-off just off Xwejni Bay on the north coast of Gozo, Malta. It can be dived from a boat or from the shore.

The shore entry involves a short swim, similar to the one for Double Arch, and at a leisurely pace it poses no significant challenge. At the drop-off to the north, divers follow it to the right until they reach Triple Arch. Divers need to watch air consumption and keep enough to return to Xwejni Bay to exit.

Structure: Triple Arch is a collapsed underwater cave that centuries of powerful waves have turned into something unique. A tunnel leads into this half-cavern, which has various holes and smaller arches. They let light filter through and create a striking effect in the clear water. The site is rated beginner level, with a maximum depth of about 18 m (59 ft).
