Turtle Point is a reef dive site where large numbers of sea turtles congregate, making it one of the most reliable spots to encounter them. It is not unusual to share the water with 20, 30, or even 40 turtles on a single dive.
The reef reaches a maximum depth of 28 metres and is suited to beginner divers. The bottom is reef, with hard corals forming the structural foundation of the site.
Beyond turtles, the site is home to sergeant majors, nudibranchs, and a broad range of tropical reef fish. Night diving at the site gives divers the chance to encounter crabs, shrimps, crocodile fish, leaf fish, harlequin shrimp, anemone crabs, decorator spider crabs, stargazers, and blue-ring octopus, among others.
