About this site
Three Caves lies along the coast of Mauritius, in the waters off this Indian Ocean island, reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres and rated as a beginner dive. Divers have reported damselfish, eagle rays, mantis shrimp, parrotfish, surgeonfish, and wrasse around the site. The caves themselves call for some care, as divers have also noted cave penetration, reduced visibility inside the formations, and sediment disturbance as things to watch for.
