About this site
A Frame is a dive site along the Cape Peninsula near Cape Town, in the cold Atlantic waters of the Western Cape. Sites in this stretch, close to areas like Oudekraal and Camps Bay, are typically reached by boat from Hout Bay or nearby launch points and dive through kelp forest terrain over a reef bottom. It's a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a relatively gentle introduction to the area's kelp and reef environment. Divers have reported eagle rays passing through, and in a southeast wind waves breaking over the rocks can be a hazard worth watching for.
