About this site
Aba no Sunachi (アバの砂地) is a boat site 3 minutes from harbour on Okinoerabu in Kagoshima Prefecture, with a typical depth of around 18 m. It is a pure white sand flat and a muck-style dive, rich in Sawagi snapping shrimps and red-spotted coral crabs of the kind found from the Ryukyus southward. Suitable from beginner level.
