Adirondack Wreck

The Adirondack Wreck lies on the reef off Man-of-War Cay in the Little Bahama Bank, Bahamas. USS Adirondack was a Union Navy steam sloop that ran aground on the reef here in 1862 while pursuing a blockade runner, and the wreck has since broken apart and scattered across the shallow reef top. Depths run only about 6 to 9 metres, making it an easy, accessible dive suited to all levels, including snorkelers. Divers can still make out cannons and iron fittings among the coral growth, with the structure now largely fused into the reef itself.
