About this site
Ailyn's Point sits along the coast of Bohol Island in the Visayas region of the central Philippines, an area known for its reef systems facing the Bohol Sea and Camotes Sea. This particular site is a cave dive rated technical, reaching a maximum depth of around 46 metres. Divers have reported fragile formations inside the passages, and a halocline layer that can cloud visibility partway through the dive. Most of the passages do not allow a direct ascent to the surface, and divers have also reported venomous remipede crustaceans within the system.
