About this site
Alcyonara Point sits off Hayman Island, at the northern end of the Whitsunday Islands group on Australia's Queensland coast, within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The site takes its name from the soft coral genus Alcyonaria, and dive access here is typically by boat from Hayman Island or from operators running trips out of the Whitsundays.
