About this site
Aldabra Main Channel is a drift dive at Aldabra in the Seychelles, and it is described as a challenging one.
A strong current runs through the channel, so navigation and buoyancy control matter throughout the drift. The water is translucent and visibility is exceptional.
The area is highly biodiverse, with a wide variety of pelagic fish, sharks, tuna, grouper and even whale sharks. Aldabra also hosts a breeding population of hawksbill turtles, and this is the place to see them.
