About this site
Alice in Wonderland lies along the southwestern coast of Curaçao, one of the many named shore and boat dive sites strung along the island's fringing reef. Curaçao's leeward coast is characterized by a shallow reef terrace that slopes into a drop-off, a formation typical of the ABC islands, and here the reef extends down to a maximum depth of around 40 metres. It is rated an advanced dive, reflecting that depth range on the sloping terrace. Dive operators based around Willemstad and the resorts further west commonly run trips to sites along this stretch of coastline.
