About this site
Anemone Gully lies along the rocky coastline near St Abbs in the Scottish Borders, part of the St Abbs and Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve on the North Sea coast of southeast Scotland. The reserve's shore is characterised by narrow gullies and rocky reef cut into the volcanic coastline, with dive boats operating out of the small harbour at St Abbs. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 16 metres, and divers have reported lobster and squid among the gully's rocky ledges.
