About this site
Ao Kalang Reef lies off Ko Kut (Kut Island) in Trat province, on Thailand's eastern seaboard near the Cambodian border. This part of the Gulf of Thailand is reached by boat from the island's coastal bays and beaches. The reef here tops out at around 12 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported clownfish and seahorses among the reef life.
