Aquario II

Aquario II lies off Isla de la Juventud, in the Caribbean Sea south of mainland Cuba, an area of reef systems reached mainly by small boat operations serving this part of the archipelago. Divers here have reported elkhorn coral, lettuce coral, massive starlet coral, and mustard hill coral forming the reef structure, along with Atlantic blue tang, Brazilian ocean surgeonfish, and yellowtail snapper moving over it. Redband, stoplight, and striped parrotfish have also been seen on the reef. The site sits within the broader Isla de la Juventud diving grounds, known generally for reef and mangrove terrain rather than any single dramatic feature.
