About this site
Arguineguin Reef sits off the town of Arguineguín on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, a stretch of coastline facing the Atlantic and a common departure point for boat dives running along the island's southern shore. The site is a reef bottomed dive reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres, rated as a beginner site. Barracuda are common here, and divers have also reported moray eels, octopus, pufferfish, snapper, and stingrays on the reef.
