About this site
Ashaa is a dive site in Meemu Atoll, one of the central atolls of the Maldives that sees far less dive traffic than the more visited northern and southern atoll groups. Meemu lies within a chain of atolls in the central Indian Ocean, accessed mainly by liveaboard or the occasional local resort trip. The atoll's reefs and channels sit within its own ring, separated from Faafu Atoll to the north and Dhaalu Atoll to the south by open sea.
