Bagenbun Gullies takes its name from Baginbun Head on the coast of County Wexford, in the province of Munster in southeastern Ireland. The headland juts into the Celtic Sea and is known for its rocky terrain, which would give rise to the gully formations that make up this stretch of coastline.
