Capo Galera is a headland just north of Alghero on the northwest coast of Sardinia, along a limestone coastline known for its caves and clear inshore waters. The area sits close to Punta del Giglio and the Grotte di Nettuno, a stretch of coast where the terrain drops steeply from rocky cliffs into the sea. Divers here have reported common prawn, mauve stinger, and Mediterranean rainbow wrasse among the marine life along this stretch.
